Thanksgiving Outfit

             

                                  
                            This is the outfit I wore for Thanksgiving. I am very thankful for my family and friends that I have had this year, they are truly wonderful and have taught me many things. I am also thankful for my mom for having awesome fashion taste and letting me borrow this beautiful skirt of hers. I paired it with a black turtleneck and some tights and granny boots! Have a lovely day!

                Layers are a good way of making an outfit more interesting and warm, and that's why my key layers in this look are my bulky black cardigan, warm socks, my lovely bowler hat, and my white scarf! I'm not really sure if I like this cold weather or not, but I do enjoy being creative with layering. Happy Sunday !

                        So clearly I love wearing boots and leggings, but I always like to change the top up!  In order to make this outfit seem less dark, I went with a black and white striped shirt and added some pops of red. My favorite accesories right now would have to be a bold necklace, lipstick/ lipgloss and I love the look my bowler hat gives to an outfit!

    For my outfit of the day I included both of my thrifted items! It was a cold, windy day and my tan cardigan with my collared shirt was  perfect for the weather. I paired it with my straight legged pants and my favorite black ankle boots. Once again my cat made it to the post because she is just so dang cute. Alright, bye.

Sunday thrift haul

                 So, yesterday I went thrifting and these are my findings...

           

                     This beautiful printed collared shirt was the first item I got and it is perfect for Fall. I am so, so excited about this item, because it was free! Yeah it was free at the thrift store and I was so happy that I found it because it is a beautiful print and you can do a lot with it! I will post an outfit of the day for this in one of my later posts, so stay tuned!

     

                My second item that I got is also something that I was excited to find because I had been looking for a red colored purse like this for quite a while! It was also only about $4.00 at the thrift store and I love how everything fits in it, my sketch book included!

      

     

   

   

     You can really find a lot of neat and barely used items for cheap when you are thrifting, you just have to really look and know what to look for! So, I hope you have a wonderful Sunday! More posts coming soon!
